SETLevel Final Event

The federally supported German research project SETLevel has presented its core results during the SETLevel Final Event held at the BMW engineering center in Munich, Germany.

As a sub-contractor for some of the SETLevel participating companies, with a special focus on definition and standardization of simulation interfaces, like OSI or OSMP, we were happy to present an overview on industrial standards for the development of automated driving in the second session of the event.

MAP SSP releases SSP 1.0.1

As a founding member of the Modelica Association Project System Structure and Parameterization PMSF IT Consulting is proud to have contributed to today's release of version 1.0.1 of the System Structure and Parameterization standard.

The maintenance release fixes a number of issues and provides further clarifications of the 1.0 release.

In parallel work continues on the 2.0 release of SSP, which will address new features and developments, including the FMI 3.0 release.

OSI Release 3.5.0

ASAM e.V. has released version 3.5.0 (Hard-fighting Hunt) of the Open Simulation Interface standard. This is the third full release of Open Simulation Interface under the ASAM umbrella.

The release features numerous backward-compatible extensions, including new logical lanes, support for traffic command update backchannel, enhanced environmental conditions, and enhanced documentation. It includes many other enhancements and alignments across OpenX standards.

The release can be downloaded from the OSI GitHub pages.

FMI 3.0 Release

The Modelica Association Project has released the final official release of version 3.0 of the Functional Mock-up Interface standard.

This release is the culmination of a lot of development effort over the past 8 years by the many contributors and members of the FMI project.

As a long-standing supporter and member of the project, we will support this release with further resources. This includes non-normative sample Test FMUs, which have been updated to the final release.

Further test FMUs are avaliable from the MAP FMI Reference FMUs project repository, which provides test FMUs for FMI 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.

FMI 3.0 Beta 3 Pre-Release

The Modelica Association Project has released the Beta 3 pre-release of version 3.0 of the Functional Mock-up Interface standard.

This beta pre-release is likely to be the first release candidate of the upcoming 3.0 release.

As a long-standing supporter and member of the project, we will support this release with further resources. This includes non-normative sample Test FMUs, which have been updated to the new beta 3 release.

Further test FMUs are avaliable from the MAP FMI Reference FMUs project repository, which provides test FMUs for FMI 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.

OpenSCENARIO 2.0 Public Release Candidate

ASAM e.V. has released a public release candidate of the upcoming OpenSCENARIO 2.0 standard.

This release candidate provides a great basis for review and feedback on the language prior to the final release.

As one of the founding members and language sub-lead of the OpenSCENARIO 2.0 project, we will support this release with further resources for getting acquainted with the language. This includes a draft Python framework for parsing of OpenSCENARIO 2.0 files, named py-osc2.
